Answer:

There are some countries where I experienced misunderstanding due to local accents. They are Turkey, Cyprus and Italy, because their ATC are not native speakers. they often use non- standard phrases and change words.

So, the difference is that the tarmac is basically a general term for the paved areas of an airport, where planes might be taxiing, parking, or just sitting around. A cargo ramp, on the other hand, is a specific part of the airport dedicated to cargo aircraft. It’s where they load and unload freight. So in short, the cargo ramp is a more specialized area specifically for cargo operations.
